Interfacio helps a leading manufacturer in the audio, broadcast, live, installation and retail industry to identify a creative marketing manager for their Nordic operations.
Our client had been looking for a Marketing Manager for the Nordic region to replace the outgoing incumbent, but felt it was key that this person came from within the industry.
Despite the fact that they had received applications from good marketers, they felt that one key ingredient was missing: the understanding, connection and background that only comes from working within the audio industry.
Due to a prior and existing professional relationship, the company’s EMEA Marketing Director contacted Interfacio’s European Director Isabelle Wear, and asked that she use her unique expertise in the market to help solve the problem.
After the job went live on Interfacio’s website, social media and PPC channels, Isabelle and the rest of the Interfacio resourcing team began a comprehensive, proactive campaign of approaching both the immediate network from the Interfacio database, as well as comprehensive searches of both professional social media and CV libraries.
After several intense weeks of work, 18 solid profiles which matched the requirements were screened further and interviewed. After three candidates were put forward, a first round of interviews took place and a shortlist of two candidates made it to the second round.
After two full length interviews with the client, the company chose the candidate they felt best fitted their company culture – bringing with them a drive and energy to the team.
The successful applicant possesses a wealth of audio experience, a great deal of marketing and a touch of commercial dimension. The client is thrilled and is looking forward to welcoming this new member to their team.
The candidate is equally delighted with the outcome, which ensured a smooth and fast process despite a delay of 10 days due to holiday.
This entire search, from instruction to offer acceptance, was completed in under eight weeks.
“Keeping the momentum going during the whole process was key, along with good communication between all parties. In this instance, despite the summer season, the time to fill the position was pretty quick – everybody worked well together, no time was wasted and the outcome was a success!”
Isabelle Wear, European Director
